Booking Terms and Conditions

Your booking contract is with The Copper Pot Club, referred to as ‘Copper Pot’ throughout these booking terms and conditions.

 

When booking with Copper Pot, you accept these terms and conditions on behalf of everyone included in your booking.

 

When you need to pay

 

  • Tasting workshops, cooking classes, supper clubs and retreats: Full payment is due when you book 

  • Private or retreat catering: a 50% deposit is needed to confirm your booking. Full payment is due 7 days before your event.

 

Your booking contract with Copper Pot begins when you receive your booking confirmation email.

 

What happens if you need to cancel

 

  • You may cancel your Copper Pot booking at any time. All cancellations must be made in writing. Your request will take effect the day we receive your written cancellation.

 

  • The following cancellations charges will apply: 

    • 25% of your booking if cancelling 60 days or more from your booking start date

    • 50% of your booking if cancelling 30 to 59 days from your booking start date

    • 75% of your booking if cancelling 15 to 29 days from your booking start date

    • 100% of your booking if cancelling less than 14 days from your booking start date.

 

What happens if we need to cancel or postpone

 

  • If Copper Pot needs to cancel your booking at any time up to eight weeks before the start date, you will receive a full refund of the money you have already paid.

 

  • Copper Pot may need to postpone and reschedule your booking at any time up to six weeks before the start date.  You will then have the option to either continue your booking with a new date, or ask for a Copper Pot voucher to the value of the money you have paid, to be used later.

 

  • Copper Pot will not pay any reimbursements should we are forced to cancel or in any way change your booking due to war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, pandemic, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, technical or maintenance problems with transport, or other circumstances which amount to force majeure.

 

What happens should there be inappropriate behaviour at a Copper Pot event

 

  • Inappropriate behaviour includes verbal abuse, aggressive behaviour, repeatedly disruptive behaviour. Should we feel one of our guests are behaving inappropriately they will be asked to stop. Should they continue their behaviour, we may ask them to leave the event.  No refund will be given in this circumstance.

 

What to do if you have a complaint

      

  • If you have a complaint during your booking please let the Copper Pot team know immediately. We will try and find a solution as quickly as possible.

 

Why we request confidential and personal information

 

  • We take dietary preferences and food allergies into consideration when planning our menus. And use your information to make sure these are taken into account. 

 

  • We can cater for plant-based, vegan and vegetarian options. 

 

  • We are not able to cater for food allergies.  We use different venues and kitchens and can’t guarantee our food won’t come into contact with nuts and other ingredients. If you have a food allergy please take this into consideration and be sure to let us know when you book.

 

  • Refer to our privacy policy for information on the data we collect and how we use it.

 

Your booking contract with us

Your contract is made up of the booking terms and conditions, which are governed by English and Welsh law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh Courts.
